MATT REYNOLDS MATCHING GIFT PROGRAM
2/5/2026

DSO and The Grateful Guitars Foundation proudly honors the life and legacy of Matt “Curfew” Reynolds, a beloved singer/songwriter, DSO tour manager, and pillar of the jam band community through the ‘Matt Reynolds Matching Gift Program.’
This program invites fans, friends, and supporters to make a direct impact by funding half the cost of an instrument for a deserving musician, with GGF matching the remaining amount. Together, we can put world-class instruments into the hands of players who will carry the music forward.
Matt Reynolds, affectionately nicknamed “Curfew” by Colonel Bruce Hampton, was known for his kindness, humor, and dedication to the music community. He served as tour manager for Colonel Bruce Hampton, The Codetalkers, and Dark Star Orchestra, and left behind a deep musical imprint with his debut album Been Long Gone, co-produced by Rob Eaton and Ted Pecchio. His spirit also lives on in the song “Goodbye Carolina” by The Marcus King Band, written from his perspective.
