Additionally, Grateful Guitars Foundation is bringing four historical, Grateful Dead played guitars including Jerry Garcia’s Alligator and the Martin D-28 acoustic Garcia used when recording American Beauty to this year’s Dark Star Jubilee. GGF is a 501(c)3 non-profit that obtains world class musical instruments for talented players to carry on the jam band tradition and has begun an initiative to fund music in schools, and is thrilled to present Jerry’s guitars for live performance at the Jubilee.
